The Mini Cooper is extremely frugal on fuel – the base requirement of modern car ownership. In addition, it supplies a great look and simple yet comfortable drive with a convertible roof and ease of customization. Similarly, the 2010 Honda Civic hit top numbers again because it is reliable and enjoyable-to-drive small car although the coupe has not changed in the last few years, but it has had popularity all this time. In the same manner, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe combines good price with sharp handling, comfortable ride, and handsome appearance making it a must have in the top three coupes.
Yet the 2010 Ford Mustang is masculine with a V8 engine (though not standard for the coupe) amalgamated with retro styling and a lot of interesting updates like larger wheels, standard stability control, Ford Sync et cetera. In contrast, the BMW 3 Series remains atop with its fierce reputation due to comfort, speed, looks and refinement that tend to produce the unforgettable driving experience with unmatched reliability. Much the same way, the Audi A5 lives up to its German reputation with impeccable inside trim and exterior, which turns heads as the car rolls although the fuel consumption has upset a few.
However, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class not only performs better but is more affordable since last year too, while not compromising the wonderful ride and handling, perfectly made German engines, myriad safety features and spacious interior. In much the same manner, the Porsche Cayman coupe deserves its position with responsive steering and strong brakes with a high degree of customizability, although optional features may be viewed as still too expensive to warrant affordability.
On the other hand, the Audi R8 is equipped with a top-notch engine, innovative all-wheel-drive, and slick gated manual transmission that has been done so well that the editors call it the best “combination of speed, athleticism, style, and comfort”. In comparison, the Porsche 911 is still an iconic supercar and coupe, which provides the most exhilarating performance with the wonderfully responsive transmission although at a huge base cost and a gas guzzling engine.
